About Sakigake!! Cromartie Koukou

Sakigake!! Cromartie Koukou (also known by the name of Charge!! Cromartie High School, Cromartie or CroKou) is a comedy high school manga created by Eiji Nonaka that combines absurd comedy and parody gags with crazy characters. It's published in the weekly japanese magazine Shonen Magazine of Kodansha (where other popular manga as Hajime no Ippo and GetBackers are published) and nine tankoubons (or volumes) have been compiled so far. It also has an anime adaptation by the prestigious Production I.G. studio and there are several merchandise products related to this series as videogames, drama CDs...

This work relates the life of Takashi Kamiyama, a normal 16 year old high school student and his classmates of the Cromartie High School. But Cromartie isn't an ordinary school: it's famous because of its delinquent students. Well, they say they are, but in fact all of them are a bunch of idiots. So the poor Kamiyama will have to "survive" to all the strange and absurd events that will happen around him and the other characters of Cromartie.

About the layout

This first version of Doke! Doke! Doke! features Shinichi Mechazawa, one of the most popular characters of the series. The image was scanned by me from a promotional poster of the first DVD of the anime. I used Notepad, and Photoshop to create it.
